At TSB Living we are committed to the future. As a company and individuals we are doing what we can to make our business as sustainable as possible. We're working with the experienced consultants at ESGRI (Environmental, Social and Governance Reporting Intelligence) based in Sydney, to drive on specific goals, scale our actions and make measurable progress. We have to date made some progress on the 4 pillars which are highlighted below. Our commitment to sustainable practices are being embedded in our day-to-day operations. We are constantly including environmental, social and governance values into our decision making and bringing about a culture of change whereby everybody in the business takes pride in their actions which are very closely aligned with the values of our company.

Our fabric products are OEKO-TEX certified, ensuring they are free from harmful chemicals and heavy metals. While most of our wooden products carry the FSC certification, ensuring they are sourced from responsibly managed forests that protect biodiversity and support local communities. These certification reflects our commitment to improving the environment and providing safe, sustainable products for our customers."

Four Main Future Projects

  • Renewable Energy

By 2025 we aim to have solar panels installed at all of our branches, with the goal of having renewable energy being the provider for our daily operations and transportation.

  • Sustainable Packaging

By 2026 we will be maximising our sustainable packaging strategy, eliminating over 90% plastics in our packaging and reducing our polystyrene packing by 50%.

  • Carbon Footprint

Additionally to reduce the carbon footprint of our customers, we wish to establish more pick-up locations, encouraging in store collections by giving additional discounts. By doing this we aim to reduce the emissions from our freight fleet.

  • Electric Vehicle

We have also started to convert our current fleet of vehicles to electric, this is slow progress but we have managed to reduce two out of the ten vehicles so far and will continuously make changes to this space.
